Hi, I’m lindsay.
I’m here to help you create the business you’ve always imagined from the bottom up. I have been practicing for the past 8 years as a therapist and first opened my solo private practice, Inner Purpose, back in 2021. From there my practice quickly grew into a group practice of 10 clinicians, graduate interns, and an administrative and leadership team.
Becoming a self-taught business owner, I now can guide you into what has worked, not worked, how to avoid the same rookie mistakes I made and real practical strategies that work to make your business a success.
a little about me
Just to give you some background about who I’m all about as a person, therapist, and business owner! I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Psychology with a Minor in Law & Justice in two years. Then went on to receive a Master’s in Professional Clinical Counseling from La Salle University. I have been practicing for 8 years and have worked with all ages in residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings. My approach is trauma-informed with a focus in exposure-based practices while utilizing treatment modalities such as Psychodynamic, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I specialize in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder/Trauma, Sexual Abuse, Domestic Violence, and Anxiety/Depression. I have advanced training in Prolonged Exposure and a certification in Interpersonal Violence Advocacy. Currently, I am working towards my certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies. I am also a Clinical Supervisor of Graduate Interns and Pre-licensed therapists.
I am a Mom of two children, 3 dogs, and have been married for 7 years. I love to read, do yoga, shop, enjoy interior design and party planning. I come from a family of business owners, which allowed me the opportunity to witness first hand the autonomy, leadership, and financial freedom that comes along with being a business owner.
My goals are to have a 15+ therapist practice with solid systems and staff in order for me to become operationally insignificant. Along with consulting and training endeavor I am also interested in hosting a podcast, becoming a published author, and opening up a non-profit in the future.
My hopes for this new division of business, I can have a large reach within the community to provide comprehensive courses to turn mental health practitioners into business owners and to further along the education of trauma-informed and trauma-specific therapies.
